Damn that sounds good to me, no problem with colour I wanted to have my red one re anodized black anyways. And use it on this bike...The all red was a little to much for my bike cause its darker then every other red part on my bike...And I was really liking the look of the new splash ones

I have only played around on a friends Yamaha 250 SM for a few minutes, but the bike was really fun to ride.. I know I will like it, but I am more interested in sliding around and doing stoppies then actual stunting on it. Not even sure if Im going to add a handbrake..

I ordered Marchensini rims yesterday, so I am going to need tires and gearing soon. Does anyone have any suggestions? The stock gearing is 13/50 I was thinking of 14/50 or maybe an even smaller rear And what are good all around tires?

I knew the 450's were supposed to be powerful, but this thing honestly still shocked me with how much power it has right out of the box. And its a loud ass bitch too! Stock it just simply rips shit up

I think this bike would completely rag doll any inexperienced rider, I feel like it will kick my ass before I know whats happening, if I try to get too comfortable with the throttle just yet..

Im the first of my friends to buy one for SM, and its already like crack, everyone wants one...

agreed, my 250 is kind of pathetic when it comes to all out power. but you cant expect much out of a 250. I love mine...shes a blast to ride around. but for longer rides and wanting to clutch up going over 30mph...she needs to be raped to do so. a 400 or a 450 would be tits set up like a WR.

Exactly! No hate on the wr but it's like a big 50.. The same kind of throttle response to witch is weird cuz there fuel injected... I would just get a 450 set it up and be careful cuz those things are no joke... Any gear stock they will do wheelies... Couldn't imagine one with a big sprocket

KYD,what power add ons does your WR have and Ryan what about the one you rode? Mine stock was super pathetic but with full exhaust,power programmer,and gearing its a whole different bike.Dont get me wrong its still gutless compared to a 450 but Im still having fun a year and 7k miles later.

im in new york and it takes a lot of bullshit to turn a motocross bike into a street legal supermoto. gotta register out of state and then transfer everything over into new york. They drz 400 has more power yes but its carb'd and im not a fan of the looks. the WR is nasty looking, ton of parts for it, fuel injected, and overall just fun as hell...and my cuzin had one and he liked it so i took the plunge. I miss the power of having a streetbike tho. People who rock 450s i think usually install a heavier flywheel so the motor is a lil bit more tamed then the stock'r. Ryan moore should be able to tell all about it. he ran a 450r ...still does i think.

my bike has Two Bros Carbon pipe, Two Bros Juice Box, Gutted air box, stock/+6 gearing, 50 stutn rear pegs, FullThrottle Dual Caliper set up. Waiting on my RSC and gonna get a brembo or magura soon. Needs a fuel pump, rear sprocket looks like it needs to be replaced, and i just put a footplate on it so seat standers are more stable. I popped my 1 mile SS cherry the other week. im just getting into the whole motorcycle wheelie business. last time i tired on my 00 ZX6R i broke many bones, hospitalized for a week, and needed surgery.

Couldmt tell u loogie i have rode like 5 or them one was all stock and it was decent I guess.. The other 4 belong to Ryan Stephen and Cory and aj from freestyle lifestyle and there bike are 100% built to the max.. Still wasn't feel in it... My 50 with a 125cc lifan and a clutch would beat those things ...kinda sad lol
