I'm thinking of buying a hi-point pistol. I'm only looking for a gun to have fun at the range of cabin. And also what kind of ammo do you recommend.

I got the hi-point 9mm about 3 weeks ago. Sent about 100 rounds threw it with 0 issues. For 150 deff worth the money. Bulky and ugly. But super fun

I'm not sure what you are asking. Was colt manufacturing guns for Browning?? I was just talking to someone the other day about the 1911, I didnt know there were so many mfg's that made a 1911. I tried to look up the history and its unclear who first made that model I was always under the impression it was Colt, but one site I found suggest Springfield was the 1st.

It was originally designed by Browning, but first produced by Colt.
