\r\n \r\n If they dont ask about the bikes and just let you drive through, then obviously you wont need anything. If they ask about your bikes, then you will need an ownership/VIN regardless of brand status (irreparable, salvage, or clean). To prove ownership...

\nThere is no good reason anyone should have a blank frame, if you replaced your frame because it was cracked or something. Then you put your old VIN on the new frame...

...And there is a big difference between factory blank, and ground down to blank...

So if its ground down, dont even try it till you get that sorted out properly...

\nCanada customs would not even let me ship out a Clean title bike, because it had a lien on it. I had to get the lien off the vehicle history before they would let it leave the country...
\n
\nCanada does not keep motor numbers on file, but some countries like Jamaica do...They keep track of what motor # is in what VIN # bike...If you swap motors you are supposed to notify them, so they can change the # on file...

\nCustoms people can really give it to you, a local guy bought a bike off someone on SL. And when he tried to bring it over, he tired to save a little money and tell them he paid less then he actually did. They asked him where he found the bike for sale, and he said Stuntlife.com...They left him in a room and came back, with all the PM\'s he had printed out...They actually hacked into his account within a few mins and printed all this PM\'s. So it can go really easy and you just drive through, or you can be that guy they decided to actually look into...Get a customs officer in a bad mood and/or that doesnt like bikes, and you could be there all day trying to prove your bike is legit...\r\n
