Had a tall seat to start with. It had a few rips so I decided to build up and extend the back of the seat while recovering.
Staple gun $31
T50 10mm staples $5
Tall seat base and standard tall foam
2 inch Foam sourced from local upholstery shop $10
Piece of double thick gel type yoga mat (free)
Vinyl Covering from same shop $10
3M super adhesive $15
Cardboard for rear seat extension (free)
Started by removing the old seat cover
Added thich cardboard 4 inch extention to the back of the seat since I end up riding nead the tail of the bike sometimes. Now seat is longer in the back
Cut 2 inch foam to fit top
Cut Yoga Mat
Cut Vinyl
Spray glued each piece one at a time
Stapled on cover
Go ride!
