How to: 07-09 CBR 600rr tank dent
#11
pretty good job, you can do it even easier than that really. once you have the dent done you can tape 2 heat guns together take the tank cover off and heat it from the bottom side get it real hot and have some thick ass gloves on already, put the lid back over the tank and instantly push down the shit will start to form to your exact dent. i did a couple a few years back that way and they came out sick without even damaging the paint much, only where the dent was which gets covered with htmoto like yours anyways. go that route if your trying to keep your top cover minty looking as the straps may start to scratch.

but great job overall

that came outwell....kinda shallow though...........when we did my 03, we put the tank cover back over it once we dented it, then wrapped the outside in aluminum foil and stuck the heat gun down the gas hole, heated it up really quick, plus we didnt really have to repaint it.
