Dates as follows
March 18th Santa Pod (you can arrive Saturday but not until 6pm as there is an event on Saturday)
May the 5th 6th and 7th at Santa Pod This is part of X fest www.xfest.co.uk You need to arrive early Saturday or Friday afternoon. This is a great opportunity to get stunt rid...ing in front of a more mass market and I have potential sponsors coming for a look so best behaviour please and clean those bikes!
August 18th and 19th Elvington part of the speed wheelie event. There is a 98db limit at Elvington you will be measured and will not be able to ride if you are above. They have had loads of problems with noise and will lose bike days if it carries on so 98db or less or no ride.
October 6th and 7th Santa Pod Finals as well as ACU drag bike finals.
This year is four rounds and you can use your top three scores for your total so if you have a bad weekend or have to miss one due to other commitments your still in with a chance at the title come the end of the year. Also we have the ACU looking at us this year they may be interested in sanctioning a UK series official which is great news for the sport if they like what they see. This will also help riders with sponsorship as it makes it more far more serious and professional and this will make it easier for the comps to get a main sponsor so hopefully there will be no entry fees (may be~??).
