title: God lives in you
best: 14, 20
14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[c] and in your spirit, which are Gods.
these two verses are just encourageing to me of how much God loves us and what He intends to do for us.
challenge: 12; 19
12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
im not sure what paul means here by saying all things are lawfull....i just dont know. and the other is easy to figure just hard for me to always do... hard for me to think of myself as a holy temple where God lives, b/c i know the corruption of this flesh and its a struggle to die to self and live for Christ daily.
:summary:
to me this chapter speaks of problems in the body of Christ (the church) one brother w/ another. Paul asks why are we not able to make a right judgement and get issues worked out? instead of airing out dirty laundry for those who are not a part of the body to judge. Even more so that we should conduct ourselves in a waythat would honor our Lord who lives in us!!
