how to guide :2005-2008 zx6r fork seal replacement (with pictures)

Everyone is knocking this but it actually pretty good if you have never done fork seals... good post with pics. I use pvc pipe cut in half as a slide seal drive, works great and is like $1... spring compression tool can be made out of 2 1/2 inch steel tubing drilled and tapped for all thread. Costs about $5 from you local metal shop...

If u heat up the outer tube with a heat gun when pulling the forks apart. you are less likely to damage the coating on the bushings. Makes the seal go back in easier as well. A little heat always helps out.
