Loading bike onto pick up truck

Might sound like squid question but over in UK nobody uses pick up truck to transport bike.

But a lot of lot videos I've seen a lot you use pick ups.

How easy is it to load a bike onto a pick up isit a 1 man task ?

It's very easy just use a ramp and maybe a step stool

Strap the ramp to the truck so your tire doesn't shoot it out and you are good to go, you just walk the bike up using the clutch and the hand brake.

If you get a wide enough ramp you can walk it up while sitting on the bike.
