cutting down f4i upper

Any tips on keeping it secure? I'm cutting it down past the mounting point of the mirrors which i guess are the main thing that hold the upper to the stay. Any ideas on securing it after that is cut?

I just need a temp fix till i get my stealth stay. Ordering it Monday but won't gave it in time for ROC

In that case I have no clue... My bad bro I didn't know you knew about the stealthstay already, I just went commercial advertising retard for a second..

nothing will hold up that headlight without breaking the fairings.. except for the six holes that come with your new stay.. That's the sweet design about that stay is the screws that hold the headlight which pretty much hold the plastics.. But I don't know much to be quite honest.. find a way to support that headlight and you're golden or just take out the headlight?

Well the headlight had little studs that slip into the upper stay. That plus the bolts that hold the mirrors are the only thing holding it. But i know someone has done it with out an after market stay. I could drill the upper and bolt it to the stay but I'd rather not cause, well it's a super mint upper

i used spray foam for a temp fix worked really well
