Do you know what StartUp items are? Usually found in or around System Prefs/Config. These are items or applications that open and run in the background as soon as you boot up your computer. Some you need like anti-virus software, disk utility stuff.......internet browser w/ Stuntride.com as homepage...and so on. Others you might not have ever used or are going to use. By disabling the programs you don't use or don't need to start up with the computer, you free up memory which can now be used for more important things like watching stunt videos for instance.
Doesn't exactly pertain to streaming YouTube vids but every bit counts.

CCleaner also has something for startup items if your looking for a easy interface to use its under tools and startup... or you could do it the old fashioned way and just type "msconfig" without quotes into the run box, going to the startup tab and disable them that way. (note: this goes without saying but don't disable your operating system...) lol.
Motobruce what kinda troubles are you having maybe i can help? is it slow performance in general or just on the internet?

Downloaded youtube on my xbox and can now watch vids on my led hd tv... Daaaamn ive been missing out on fast streaming and awesome quality!

yea ive been usin my ps3 to view stunt vids and etc...Takin my comp in to be cleaned next week

screw all of that. put your windows cd in and reformat. bran new computer.
This guy saved me buying a new PC like 6 times
