BP had the most profitable quarter of any company in the history of the world, despite having to pay out big money in oil spill claims.

Democrats are generally more concerned about the environment and that gets lumped with this whole image of them being "hoity toity" and too good for people..

While republicans are percieved to be with the people and wanting to keep big government out of the way and keep your energy prices low.


tell me this, why is it that republicans get millions and millions of dollars in donations from big businesses and oil companies?? Why do all these huge ass companies have lobbyists in washington? Why are over 80% of elected republicans in senate and congress millionaires... A simple mind can say its because they are smarter, they are better for business etc etc.

You guys really think that a millionaire republican senator who gets 100k in contributions a year from exxon mobile is going to really press anyone on finding out why gas prices are so high in kansas?? Those motherfuckers probably havent pumped gas in 10 years.. or been to a grocery store..
