you don't even need to grind em off... you can just raise them up a bit... turn, then tighten.

just leave them at the stock position... i did and had no problems....

Ehhh... stock is much too angled... feels like your handcuffed. Makes it tougher to work the bike around in circles and especially rough to roll endos w/out wobble.

Even full fairing you can turn em out enough for much improved control.
