Injuries suck as we all know.

I always wear a helmet and gloves. The only damage I've suffered from stunt riding so far is road rash on my hip.

Granted I'm still working on circles, but what are the common injuries and the best way to avoid/prevent them?

I have a set of knee/shin guard and elbow/forearm guards that I used to wear, but I haven't seen any need for them recently.

Keep your feet out from between the bike and pavement, especially if your in the tank and tipping over!

Edit: being good with the cluch can save so many situations that's are starting to go bad also once you get good at 2 fingering the clutch/hb.

Best advice ever, right there!! ^^^^^^

......and wear over-the-ankle shoes/boots. I cringe when I see guys wearing skate shoes....untied.....with either no socks, or ankle socks....

Right and quick reflexes too.

I agree with over ankle shoes... Smashing my foot flipping a stoppie and road rash are my two worse injurys... Wearing a jacket every time I right for the last year and half has been the best desicion I've made in a while..

the clutch saves so many spills for me its not even funny ALWAYS COVER IT

if its not recoverable, just bail.......as far as idle/circle/slow stuff is concerned, which it sounds like your working on, most positions are pretty bail-able (even land on your feet)......fuck the bike imo.

I wear a jacket when I do sotppie stuff, but otherwise I find it does little beyond making me bulky and less maneuverable. its not like plastic guarding or anything, just prevents road rash, which isn't going to occur during slow speed spills anyway

but hey, I stunt in slip on vans and skinny jeans, so don't listen to me haha

I got wrist problems from bailing with my hands forward.

Yeah I definitely always cover the clutch and save myself with it, got to work on use the hb and clutch though. Right now I have a finger on each, but can only mentally use one or the other.

I'm wearing mid/high top skate shoes at the moment.

I just want to stay stunting as long as I physically can!

Worst injury for my was I stalled in a slow wheelie and as the bike slammed down hit my knee on the tank and put a nice dent in it lol had a limp for like a day but now I where knee pads and elbow pads and always a helmet.

I've rammed my knee into the tank many times. Gear helps a lot.
