I see a lot of info on the 929/954 triples as it is a direct swap out but how about the different Honda triples like the 1000rr? I've read there are clearance issues as it changes the rake. Is that from the axle location or the degree of angle in the upper and lower holes? I just bent my f4i stockies so Im trying to expand my parts search. 50mm forks seem to be around and pretty cheap so I guess Im just in need of an explanation on what forks are going to change the rake because Id really like to not do that. I don't mind grinding stop tabs and things like that and can always go with a dirt bar or adjustable clip on top if fork length is an issue. Thanks.

Is it the fork length changing the rake? I guess if they're short you could just use a dirt bar mount top or run adjustables under? I need a what list of 50mm forks and their lengths sticky lol and a what 50mm triple you can use on a f4i

fork length.. best setup imHo:
954 upper/lower triple, clipons on top with rc51 (the light gold colored ones) forks, wheel, axle and rotors. calipers swap over..
the rc51 forks are the same length as the f4i (all the rest is shorter) and has the best suspension for stoppies as is.

Cool. Thx. Yeah it seems best if I score a 954 triple but to expand my search what other forks are as long or longer than f4i?
