Low speed oscilation. - Kolat - 03-20-2006 Tonight I went out with the goal of hitting the 12 bar, dropped the tire pressure WAAY the fuck down (mabey too much) and then was clutch them up at about 3mph. 954 with stock gearing. Bike would come up nicely but when I would try and ease it past the balance point once I got off the throttle the rear tire would start to oscilate side to side bigtime. I was sitting down, tried sitting up by the tank or on the back of the seat and it did'nt change. Any thoughts on what's causing this? T Low speed oscilation. - Ace151Slayer - 03-20-2006 What the fuck is oscilating? Low speed oscilation. - Kolat - 03-20-2006 back tire wobbling side to side, but with a fancier word :-) T Low speed oscilation. - Ace151Slayer - 03-20-2006 Probably the pressure to low, I heard when its really low the rim can sway back n forth. Dont quote me but I think that might be why. Low speed oscilation. - Nick App - 03-20-2006 put your left foot on the rear passenger peg and right foot on the rear brake.... should be easier right??? so you could jog behind the bike if things get ugly
Low speed oscilation. - Kolat - 03-20-2006 Think I'll leave the 12 bar alone till I get a new chain/sprocket, which better be soon cause my chain is starting to be hella stretchy. T Low speed oscilation. - thomas - 03-20-2006 yeah u need 15 lbs Low speed oscilation. - Chris - 03-20-2006 could have been throttle inputs, that's my guess. |
