At work I run my torch at 20cfh and back up gas is good if you can use it Def have lots of tungston ready get a puddle goin dab some wire in don't force it let it ball up and drop off then move forward a little do the same watch you tube videos too they will help mine is all digital so I set my Welder to max out at 125amps that way half peddle is about 75 amps so you got some to work with either way more or less if you go and max your Welder out at say 300amps half peddle is 150amps... Harder to control... hope it helps

Not sure what anyone else uses but I'm a big miller fan and I currently use an STL150 which is a DC machine only that runs on both 120V and 220V. It's a great machine and a kit costs around $1600. If you have the extra cash a great choice would be the miller dynasty 200 which is about $3000 for the kit but it welds in both AC/DC which means you can weld carbon, stainless and aluminum. It also can run on 120 or 220v, both these machines work with tig and arc(stick) welding.
