db bar help? - RidemybikeMike - 08-22-2012 hello everyone, im new to the site, settin up a 05 636. i have a set of nice db bars layin around, was wondering what im gunna need to make it work... iv read i can use an 03/04 top tripple and some risers, also that i need roughly 4" over front brake lines. Is there anything else il need longer? db bar help? - B-rup - 08-22-2012 Depending on the rise throttle cables and clutch, but if its not a huge rise you should be ok. 03-04 clutch cable is longer I believe if you run into issues there db bar help? - RidemybikeMike - 08-22-2012 ok perfect, my buddy has a 03 top trip and should have a extra clutch cable laying around. good shit! thanks again for your time/help dude db bar help? - B-rup - 08-22-2012 Yup, no prob db bar help? - garcia2389 - 09-18-2012 Hey man I've got an 06 and it looks possible to run DB bars on the stock triple with some big strong washers and long enough bolts to the risers, but yes longer clutch cable, throttle and brake lines are most likely necessary I have all that for DB bars but no actual bars or risers, considering making the switch though I'm sick of my front end being lowered and bottoming out when I come down hard |
