Stuntride Motorcyle Stunt Bike Set Up (for beginners)???? - SIC Nate - 05-21-2012 I just read the stickied thread above and it doesn't really seem to match the title... seems more like a product ad thread than a set up recommendation ![]() Anyway, here's my list of recommendations:
Stuntride Motorcyle Stunt Bike Set Up (for beginners)???? - vollrath - 05-22-2012 That sounds like a pretty advanced setup. For a true beginner who wants just the basic shit and can add on all the bells and whistles as he learns, i'm thinking: Cage 12 bar / round bar (up to preference i guess) Big rear sprocket And that is really all you need to start the fun. Even the 12 bar/rear sprocket isnt 100% necessary but I think they'd be the most highly recommended by most people for getting started. And then start adding on fun stuff as you get more comfortable with your bike and your skills improve: Clipons (or flip stock ones) Easy pull clutch Hand brake Tank Dent All the other shit you mentioned, etc. But of course some of the maintenance ones can be done right off the bat (brake fluid, decent pads, good tire, adjust suspension etc.) |
