Just picked up my new bow for hunting and 3d archery. It's a Mission Venture by Mathews, custom ordered it with a black riser and the camo limbs, added the accessories in the same camo to match, looks sick and shoots even better, just got it all sighted in this weekend with 5 pins for 20 30 40 50 60 yards, was immediately shooting 8 inch groups at 60 yards and i've never shot that distance before so i'll take it. I just started shooting bows 2 months ago and was given an old ass PSE thats like a 1990s bow had an axle to axle of 40 inches shit was huge but i fell in love with shootin so bought a nice one. bought my ol lady a Mission Craze as her first bow also, ill post a pic of that later on and better pix of mine. my cell phone sucks for pix.

yeah i'll be using it for hunting turkey in the spring and deer in the fall as well as some 3d shoots and normal target practicin. my boss just bought a Z7 too he likes it i dont care for the looks that much and i actually picked the venture over a Z7Xtreme but i didn't wanna have 1500 into my bow after setting it up. $1000 was bad enough for a $500 bare bow

I just sold my old bow, It was a mission UX2. I loved that bow. I'm looking into getting a new one but I'm undecided right now. And living in San Diego there isn't much use I can get out of a bow other that target and some hunting if I take a trip somewhere. It was set up with a drop away rest, string grubs, peap sight with 3 pins(20 30 40) with a 60lb draw and a 70% let off.

what else do you need to do with a bow besides hunt and target shoot lol. mine is 80% letoff and 70 limbs but is set at 60#s thats plenty for me, its fast and really quiet i love it so far. i went with the 5 pin setup cuz ill be doin a bunch of 3d archery stuff this spring and summer. hopin to nail a big ass tom with it in the spring

got rid of my mathews dxt for a bowtech 82 airborne. 60 pounds with 30 inch draw shooting 400 grain arrows at 320fps. its nasty. many many critters and deer and fish killed with that thing. ive always preferred to hunt with a bow over a gun any day. im gonna find sum pics for you guys

biggest one i shot, me and my boy would always walk this bridge and pop them for shark bait for that evening. i swear it had to be a record. record cownose for florida shot with a bow is like 58 pounds, that thing weighed at least 65.

no shit thats nice man, i have yet to try fishing but i would love to get a setup i can throw on my bow for it.
my bow is rated for 321fps at 70lbs 29inch draw, i'm only a 26inch draw so i lose some steam there but its 100 times faster than the old piece of shit i was shootin. i went middle of the road for a bow and loaded it with top notch equipment, prior to shooting my new bow i never sho past 40yards at targets, first day sighting in the venture i was shootin 8 inch groups at 60yards and never missed the target. i love it so far, i need some better pix of it though the ones i posted don't do it justice by any means, looks pretty sick the way i built it though.
