I have a 2001 f4I I noticed it bogs in the beginning of each gear and also there's a blue tint to the exhaust and will smell rich. It seems like im giving it more throttle when i first take off from a stop.. sometimes its like its running rich but other times lean...need some help

Is it running good besides the low end bog?
Do you have any mods? Kleen air, 2nd idle adjustment cable, etc.?

I just got the bike and its my first street bike ...i had a hd for a couple yrs.... so not to sure about mods... is the 2nd idle the cable commin out infront of the gas tank? Bike runs pretty good once i get past the bog... it has. Stunt fairings on it so no aair tunnels or w.e they are called...im working on gettin fairings and all that

If you are running open intake vents then the bog is most likely from that. Could also be you need plugs, air filter or throttle body sync.

synchronize throttle bodies with vacum gauges !

Tryin to grt it back to stock so im put the intake vents w. E they are callrd back on when i get more parts... do u think that is why my clutch feels different when i firs. Start moving from a stop... is there anotherb adjustment for the clutch other than the one on the lever... seems likr i hace alotta play

I have my intake tubes off with no bog... thats not the problem.

Did a throttle body sync cleaned them new air filter still no intake tubes and its Little better but still not running smooth enough...any suggestions...checked the plus and they were not fowled out
