rider/participant insurance (priceless in this day and age)
lunch and dinner daily (easily $15-20 a day) X 4 in daytona = $60-$80
admission for rider ($30 min for a weekend)
admission for rider guest ($30 min for a weekend)
and XDL rider pits are open to fans and we encourage fans to interact with riders, this means riders could sell their own products (essentially a free booth)

you don't have to be a genius to figure out that that's a deal.....and he forgot the free advertising for competing......getting your name out there is $$
