What do these people expect is going to happen to them? If they believe so much in "their" lord, why get the police involved in "gods" work?

These people are just out to stir up the pot and cause trouble.... It's just sad that this country gives those protesters more rights then the fallen soldiers families who lost a loved one that was serving and protecting us.

These Westboro protesters came to a funeral about 5 miles away from me for a 31 year old Army soldier that was killed in Afghanistan. People from virtually every town around me came to block them from the family of the solidier. It was awesome to see.

I understand how this guy in the article felt, especially after losing his legs but it's unfortunate the way he handled it.

I agree. It's funny how the media can back down from anything offensive to Muslim's, but when it comes to defending the dead military, they stay hands off. I posted an article a few weeks back where a town took back the corner that this church pulled a permit for.... half the town came out and took up all the parking for BLOCKS and took the corner over so the protesters couldn't be there. There is a group of motorcyclists that are going to these events and revving up their engines so loud that they drown out the protesters.

Any of you heard of the Patriot Guard?? It was started here.. in Mulvane Kansas. They surround the burials of fallen solders( outskirts of the cemetery) with idling motorcycles so that the sounds of the protesters can not be heard by the families.
