bike wont start - old man roger - 11-03-2010 sounds like the bike isnt charging ..push start it and check the voltage at the battery , should be 13.5 or higher when the bike is running and a little above 12 when it's not running .. you might have to give it a rev or two to get every thing charging .. bike wont start - P-ham - 11-03-2010 Quote:

bike wont start - old man roger - 11-03-2010 check to make sure all the cable are tight too bike wont start - ALEXD - 11-03-2010 My r6 did the same thing and it was the rectifier. It rode fine that day and I went to visit a friend at his shop when I left I rode a long as wheelie down the block, set it back down to turn right then made it a little ways down the street and that was it I fried the rectifier. Check the wires going into it to see if they look burned. You can get one cheap if it needs to be replaced bike wont start - P-ham - 11-04-2010 my bike still isnt running i havent checked the rectifier yet, i will when i have time and how do i check the voltage for the batteries? i dont have a volt meter or anything like that all i got is a test light lol.... bike wont start - Sogan88 - 11-04-2010 u need a voltage meter. they arnt that expensive. get one |
