I'd get the Gladius if I could, but heres a few really good bikes, with great price tags attached...http://www.stuntride.com/vbstunt/showthread.php?t=14686 best motard/supermoto ? - Endo Andy - 06-08-2010 I've got a 2004 crf250r it's a fun bike. If you don't want a bike that you have to kick start get the crf250x. It's got electric start! best motard/supermoto ? - JohnForLife - 06-08-2010 yeah the 250s are funa bikes. 450 and 426's are even more fun. but if you can find a deal on either get it best motard/supermoto ? - coonRAD - 06-08-2010 My buddy had a CRF450, that thing was a blast and easy as hell to whoolie best motard/supermoto ? - Big Red - 06-09-2010 are you new to stunting or the supermoto world? Get the a 250f, if your new or a 450f if you've ridden a dirtbike/motorcycle before . I recommend kx250f/450f and yz250f/450f. Yamaha's WR series are pretty good because its already outfitted with electrics and the WR250x has supermoto wheels stock. best motard/supermoto ? - 12oclocker - 06-09-2010 If you want a stunt bike, the WR250X has the most options avaliable to build a good stunt machine, though the engine is only a 250, it is fuel injected, 50stunt makes stunt pegs, sliders, and has a footbar in the works with a functioning prototype. So you'll have a bolt on parts to bust out RL's and combo's just like a similar streetbike setup, Bill at full throttle was making handbrake dual caliper kits for them, though I believe he is out of them right now. 50stunt may have some dual caliper kits coming in the near future for the motards. Or you can throw a rekcluse HB kit on. If your not looking to do any combo's or anything, and you don't care about having bolt on stunt pegs or footbar, the CRF250X or 450X makes good supermotos / stunt bikes, they have Wide Ratio gear boxes, so you can hit the streets and hit the parking lot for some wheelie time, the R models are very narrow gear boxes and will tach out extremely quick with lower top speeds, also the R model 1st gear is like 2nd gear on the X models, not great for slow wheelies. The Yamaha WR450F 250F also are great bikes, another wide ratio transmission. Generally your going to want to start with a Dual Sport bike, not a race bike, unless you have lots of extra cash, the dual sports already have headlights, taillights, heavier flywheels, higher stator current output, kickstands, electric start, and wide ratio transmissions (good). The race bikes have no kickstands, no lights, lower stator outputs, lighter flywheels, no electric start, and very narrow transmissions. best motard/supermoto ? - StrictlyStunt - 06-09-2010 IMO motocrosser's are the way to go. I have a KTM450SX fully converted... not stunted out but set up for supermoto racing. Fun as hell to stunt it tho best motard/supermoto ? - big ben - 06-09-2010 i cant wait to hop back on the DRZ125L best motard/supermoto ? - beardo - 06-09-2010 what about the aprillias? |
