i got this motor 03-04... on a clean air mod.. its the T, left, right hose and bottom hose... on my motor the left and right hoses are gone and where they go to the motor they have plates.. i seen pics that krazy kyle has of his motor.. and his were welded..

what do i do with the rear hose... close it off or keep open?

keep it open to vent the crankcase, i'd throw a breather on it

636 ? - JOHNNYSTUNTS - 03-18-2010

the clean air mod with the T is sealed? it doesnt breath... so shouldnt i cap the rear hose?

mod with T isn't sealed, it's open... with the T you would run the crankcase hose up to the T and the crankcase vents through the exhaust.
the way yours is it's sealed off on the valve cover so you have to vent the crankcase somehow. if you cap the crankcase it has no where to vent. put a hose with some sort of breather to catch whatever oily air is going to vent

i just did the mod but instead of a brass T i just took the vacuum line off the valve and ran a hose from the crankcase to the valve. it runs smoother throughout the rpm's
the sealed way isn't bad you just don't get the added ventilation help from the exhaust

if this helps

Don't forget to plug the airbox so dirt doesn't get to engine
