only way it would be spitting is if the over flow got to full. He said it was hiting 240 in 10 mins, with two fans and a new thermostat. only other thing to check would be a blow head gasket. My old 636 used to do the same shit I replaced the head gasket an no futher issues at all

It sucked what ever fluid he had in the overflow at the time out... Which could still mean low on coolant, also he has not confirmed that his overflow hoses are in the right position and not crossed, both of which could contribute to his issues and both a lot easier to check than a head gasket..

And I think he said 220 not 240 and fan isn't even supposed to come on till like 212 or something like that..

And 4500 is going to warm up a bike pretty quickly in my opinion...

think the problem has been fixed just needing to add some more into the res. now but I think its all fixed
