Ummm not really, it shares some parts like wheels, tank, etc
However its a new frame with new geometry, new forks, larger brake rotors and monobloc calipers, traction control, ABS if you want it, new slipper clutch, etc etc etc
There are a lot of new things on it, although it might not look that different...

So psyched cant wait to see one in RL. The only thing I dont like whatsover is throttle by wire...For those who dont understand you have 1 or 2 positioning sensors on the tube and when you twist the throttle the ECM see's that as an input and opens the throttle bodys with a servo. Its not nearly as dialed as a well tensioned throttle cable and if one of those sensors fails during a ride it could be scary.

And where did you get this from? I have heard no mention of it from Kawi, and I do not see it in any pictures showing the actual throttle boddies...

if this is true, I could see people doing a cable actuated throttle body conversion or something along those lines. If you buy an aftermarket GM race motor, they're almost always cable throttles

Whos gonna wanna do all that for a 2013 bike.
