03-06 idle and computer have nothing to do with each other.messing with the air fuel wax unit will give you problems

On a 07+ you just disconnect the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and the wire that goes from computer to speedo...( pink/green) near the main harness for speedo plug and bam you can turn up the idle ( must have idle cable mod) Mine is steady up to 3k... after that it doesnt idle down right.. but my buddy whom mrides a 06 636 says it pulls harder than his bike on idle.

will diconnecting the speedo wire make you lose the reading on the guage?
