Double tap the home button and it will bring up the open/running apps. Press one and hold it untill it wiggles and close it out. I had that problem on my iPad 2 and it got to the point where it wouldent even charge overnight. Now that. Close out all open/runnin apps it has no problems charging or holding a charge. Just my . iphone 4s - Zuki750 - 03-10-2012 Apps don't stay running. They go dormant. Open a map program that uses the gps and then hit the home key. The location notifier at the top will go away, meaning the program shuts down and kills the gps. I never end my apps and it doesn't affect my battery. iphone 4s - Swanny - 03-12-2012 Quote:
