OMR totally just jacked this thread into a video game thread! LOL

Ed&Ash, you guys are totally welcome to come down and ride anytime! The more the merrier around this place so that goes for anybody.

I'm sure it's been an advantage to me to have been riding tandem for 3+years before I ever rode myself. I always pay very close attention to what the bike is doing at all times riding tandem. I listen to the motor, feel the brakes compress, pay attention to every bit of 3 senses at once: sight, feel, sound.
However, it is TOTALLY different actually being the one to pull the clutch, brake, etc.. I thought I would progress faster than I have actually, and it makes it kinda discouraging, but if it's what you really want to do, nothing can/will stop you. (except snow and ice...this stuff sucks...lol)
IMO- YES. It is hard. The weight issue alone is tough. I would also say get somethin small to start, 50 or even ttr125. You can learn the basics of the tricks without all the weight of the big bike, then transfer the tricks to the big bike when you're comfortable. Also, make sure you always Rock The Gear. Wrecking comes with the sport.
