Stubbz Dream Street/Stunt/Trail 13 WR450F Supermoto - Stubbz63 - 06-09-2015 I did the whole job without removing anything but the gas tank to get the side cover thing off the TB. haven't had any issue at all leaving that bracket off I just made sure to zip tie stuff up and out of the way a bit to protect from the heat. Different question for you tho, did you do anything to stop getting oil in your airbox? I rerouted my hose up around from of the motor by the valvecover and its fine to stunt do circles coasting at 12 etc. Sunday I rode down to the beach and around the circle which is always very slow moving traffic and the bike got very hot in the process. Then on way home I did run it up high in the rpm's a couple short times, last night I noticed I had an airbox full of oil again, I know it wasn't from wheelies cuz I barely did a 100ft sitdown once or twice but nothing long. I think it was more from heat than the rpm's as these bikes are made to run high rpm's and wouldn't think that would be any issue but maybe not. Just curious if you did anything to have that not happen or added a fan or anything like that. i'm runnin 14.47 gearing to be able to circle well without stalling so easy but anything over 60mph starts turning rpm's a bit but I ride to and from work daily and never have an issue. I ran it up to probly 75-80 once or twice but didn't hold it there at all, actually pulled clutch in and coasted back to 60mph both times. Its buggin the shit out of me tho. No issues with heat - and it gets hot down here in Texas - Stubbz Dream Street/Stunt/Trail 13 WR450F Supermoto - armenian. - 06-10-2015 Hey Stubbz, Is it awkward doing left foot on the rear peg staggered stand ups with right foot on the brake? Ryan told me that it can be a reach like you have to do the splits...is it manageable? Stubbz Dream Street/Stunt/Trail 13 WR450F Supermoto - Stubbz63 - 06-10-2015 Man that is some weird shit. changed my oil last night and put in exactly the 1.06 quarts it calls for. It was great after I rerouted the hose like a few others mentioned they had done also but not sure where it came from the other day not even standing it up or anything. only time I use footbrake is if i'm doing sitdowns, cant say ive ever tried to do a staggered and reach for the fb but I can tell you its a reach cuz even on my wr250x before I tried to do no handers and shit and its a long stretch but im a short fucker tho too. 50stunt dcb hooked to a magura 13 is beast for everything, rear peg and foot loop coasters for days. Feel free to shoot me a tex if you want, not on here all that often as shits been dead for a minute now. Names Jeremy 315-761-5559 |
