for me the single piston has been fine so far the few days that ive been out on this bike. i dont think i even remember hitting the handbrake more than once or twice the whole time since the engine brake on this bike is so strong...i now better understand how the OG's did seat standers with no HB on this thing. i have the single cal linked to a magura 13mm master which seems to give plenty grab. i still havnt tried any lot tricks or idle wheelies on the bike yet BUT i used to have a dual single cal setup on one of my past f4i's and i did circles and all that shit with no issues.
edit: oh and by the way if someone made a 4 piston bracket i wouldve definitly went that route just for piece of mind but at this time im pretty sure the single cal is still the best that you can get without going custom
No need of fuckin 4 pistons brake lol , i have those simple calipers for 2 years on my 954 with my magura 13 and the same on my lot 929 and it s good like that ! what u can do if you really NEED more brakes is putting a brake line between the 2 calipers ,my bro K-lu did it for lot riding
4 years ago i modified the hoheydesign dual caliper bracket to put a 4 pistons ,it s just to much for streetriding ,brake disc became red etc....
and for 2 weeks i m now riding hb over the clutch ,it s just awesome , i ll never change again
