simply bleeding it by hand will also make a whole world of difference, just take the screws out, dunk it upside down in 10w fork oil, push the rod back and forth till no air comes out. then put the screws back in (in the oil) and then take it out and clean it!

Thanks Alex! Mine's completely dissassembled, and the O ring looks shady. I'm just comparing prices of parts vs. a rebuild. Want it to be dialed!
