Idk how it is in ny but I've never had a problem registering a title that the guy I got it from diddnt put in his name. As long as it says the original title holder sold it to him and the bill of sale of him selling it to you should be all you need

..well i sent everything in a few months ago...it just sucks. i trusted him, who signs a title as the seller and never sends it in to dmv to get title put in there name. ..not to mention he duck taped it to the tail of the bike. so half the title was covered in tape.
..yea thats what i want is the title...

Yup..I just shipped my 05 to NY. and I mailed the title/reg/key seperately ,tracked/insured via fedex coz thats the right way to do biz..What do you expect from some backwoods hillbilly in AR. tho LOL.

Yea I agree. But I honestly told him to send it with the bike but wasn't expecting it like that. I meant he signed the title as the buyer and never sent it in.

Haha yea everything was fine. The only thing I broke was the zipties holding my brake fluid rezzies to my clipons...and I was a little sore. :D
