where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - PancakePete - 07-14-2010 Some of my favorite quotes pertaining to this subject "True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing." -Socrates "Religion is the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims" -George Carlin What he said vvvvvvvvvv BUT HE LOVES YOU!!!
where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - PancakePete - 07-14-2010 ...BTW, I don't consider myself an agnostic. I am a Rationalist!! where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - CrazyMike - 07-14-2010 I think it's funny how many people on this site quote George Carlin! Are you guys Carlinites? Religion aside, there is a way to have a real experience where the Designer of the Universe transforms a sinner into a new man. This is only found through true repentence of past sins and surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 3 that "no man will see the kingdom of God unless he has been born again". There is a transformation that takes place when a person gives up trying to live life on there on and they cry out to God for help. God is waiting for some of you to turn from your sinful life and come to Him. How long will you make foolish jokes and deny your Maker? Time is running out. There is a way to "know" that you are saved and it is an experience. It is not merely praying a prayer or going to church. It is an encounter with the Living God. It starts with seeking Him with all your heart. One more for now, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." 1 Peter 5:5 where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - PancakePete - 07-14-2010 George Carlin was a rational, intelligent, and insightful man who worked to expose the absurdity of religion. What's funny about that? I think it's funny how many people are completely and utterly delusional... Are you delusionalites? lol. Religion is arrogance parading as humility. where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - PancakePete - 07-14-2010 Quote:
where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - CrazyMike - 07-14-2010 I'm not simply regurgitating what I've been taught. I am describing a REAL EXPERIENCE. Most will enter through the wide gate. That becomes more apparent the more I get on this site. You guys are so deceived. where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - big ben - 07-14-2010 Quote:
"ok some guy who we dont where he came from or what hes about, but he created us. and we have to follow his commands, except his commands were written by all different guys and we dont know EXACTLY wat he wants for sure. and even though you die from cancer after being a awsome, good person, its a test of faith" where are my agnostics at ? throw them A's high in the air - PancakePete - 07-14-2010 Quote:
