every rich person must be an evil, swindling, exploiting heartless monster.....there no way they could have been smart, worked hard, and made good choices in life.........
I wonder who creates the vast majority of jobs in this country? whens the last time you saw a section 8 genius hiring passing out paychecks or stimulating the economy...
I only count two dummies in this thread so far which is a promising ratio in my book

Welfare is a funny thing, do we need it YES does it need to be Re worked YES is it being taken advantage of YES. We really need to go back to the you can feed a man a fish or you can teach him to fish thinking. Welfare should be a safety net not a way of life. Now one side affect of welfare that Republicans like to either forget about or ignore all together is all of the subsidies given to farmers for growing food for the welfare system. The states that get most of this money from the Government are states that are traditionally conservative republican states. Republicans will never get rid of welfare they make to much money off of it and most of their states depend on it. What Im talking about is for every $1 a state pays in taxes, some get back less than $1 and some states get back more than $1. Their are milk cow states in this country CA, Nevada for examples those two states are subsidising other states, and subsities by definition is welfare. Now we can go back and forth about Rich vs Poor socialism vs capitalism but what this country really needs is a bipartisan approach on issues and we do really need some humanity to go with our capitalism. Reading allot of these posts it seems like most of you are on the side of Libertarian and they think like republicans on the economic side but like Democrats on the social side kind of a blend of the two. Of course this is my view not the law and I respect all of the views in this post and I feel if you believe in something (weather I agree with it or not) you should voice it and tell people about it. That's what makes this country great!
