Glad I could help! If you got pictures, post'em up!

I got the Vinyl at my local upholstery shop. It had more texture than the stuff they had at the fabric store and was a little more grippy and less shiny. I bought a whole yard because I want to recover my front seat to match eventually, but you might be able to get a scrap piece from them for cheap that is enough to do just the rear.

Where can I find this kind of foam?

Very very nice well done

Way more detailed than when I took a butcher knife to mine.

IMO fit and finish of ht Moto rear seats trump all. Jn seats don't look half bad but haven't seen any in person

I *think* it's this stuff. http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-fo...lation/=jmnv3u

Honestly it was some stuff that was just left over in the shop so I used it. It probably wouldn't be my first choice if I had to order something. You should check out the foam selection here:

... Or it may be the greatest stuff ever, I really don't know... It hasn't really broken down at all, but I don't do much with the seat because it is shaped all wrong. I'm thinking of re-doing it because the front of it is at a really bad angle for SS and I think I might do about half the buildup now because with my subframe, there isn't that tray in there to make the hole more shallow.

If you do go with the first foam, you might want to go with the high density stuff for durability.

lol yeah that's definitely the hardest part for me. If you go with a simple pattern though it isn't too bad. Just use heavy duty needles and upholstery thread. When you make the pattern, leave 1/2" where the seams will be and 1/2"-1" around all the edges that will be stretched and stapled. Match up the patterns, and then sew 1/2" in from the edge to take advantage of the extra you left. From there, I folded each side over and sewed on some cotton backing to reinforce the seams.
