yeah they are a pretty penny for sure. but why not sell the sr and build the 7mge, it wouldnt take much to make it nasty powerful and a 5 speed is a easy cheap find from a junk yard. just the custom drive shaft for the sr is gunna be expensive. i guess i just think whats the easiest way to make more power with what you already have. i dont have money either and if i was gunna do it id go 7m all the way. \nyou already have one
\n3 liter straight 6
\n7MGTE parts are easy to find and swap over.
\nno custom fitting required
\nmakes decent power without a whole lot of work/money
\n
\nsr20 cons:
\ndoesnt bolt up, will have to make custom parts
\ndrive shaft will have to be custom made
\nnot a motor available in america so parts are kinda expensive and hard to find
\nonly makes a few more horsepower than a stock 7mge and alot less torque
\nunreliable, will break down constantly and adding horsepower makes this problem worse.

\nhas a spare sr at his house
\nhe had this sr in his 240 he had for drifting so it semi built already.. just pistons rings rods valves well more just the head hes got a gt28 i mean Its just shit he had kicking around. and one drunken night well his bright idea came to his head to pull the motor from the 240 and put it in that...
\nwe have had good luck with the sr\'s and rb\'s.. right now my other buddy is putting a rb26 with a rb25 tranny in his g35.... they just do stupid shit\r\n
