But it\'s probably just because you guys actually have medicinal slips over there that it\'s not as frowned upon as it is in Australia. There must have been a lot more going on in his head to cause that kind of depression man. Marijuana may help increase depression that was already there or caused by something more serious but its not going drown your brain completely like that. Legal prescription drugs are more likely to cause suicides like if he was on one of these for instant (i.e. Cymbalta, Zoloft, Xanax, Prozac, Paxil, Adapin etc etc) But once again there has to be something previously causing your mind to enter that state of unhappiness. Mixing any kind of drug with depression will most likely intensify it but i would not completely BLAME marijuana on his death. There had to have been more to it then weed being the overall cause. I am sorry that happened man and my sympathy is with you, I don\'t know what i would do if i lost one of my brothers...It would kill me.Quote:

\nP.S. I do not smoke weed, I do not do any drugs and rarely drink so i was not defending weed + riding. I just believe downing something other people may like because of one bad situation/incident is not the way to go about it. For example here in MASS an ATV flipped on a 8 year old kid, He died. So after years and years of kids riding, having fun, getting some bumps a bruises Massachusetts decides to completely ban the use of ATV\'s for children under the age of 14 because of this 1 incident. Its unfair for all the kids out there to be punished for this. Its a very sad story just like your brother\'s but majority of weed smokers get happy from smoking, Just like majority of young ATV riders wear plenty of safety gear and are cautious. Do you see where i am going with this? Everyone needs to be able to live there own lives, making there own choices...That\'s all. I hope i did not offend you at all with this post, Just putting my 2 cents in on this topic.\r\n
