\nHOLY FUCK NUT!! I was a V.C. on an LAV-25, I had to be popped up exposed the entire time. I used to squeeze by butthole a lot when we would drive over bridges, or by this one particular cliff. Eventually I just said fuck it, if it happens it happens. Thankfully it never did. Was anyone hurt or killed by that one? Glad you\'re home safeQuote:

nobody was seriosly injured from this one, i had just dismounted my guys in the back so no one was hurt. i have hearing loss in both ears now, my gunner was issued a hearing aid and the driver is doing fine. Quote:

Ya, were in MRAP\'s, got the cougars and some MATV\'s. Was in 1151\'s last time around though, so those pictures bring back memories. Shits nuts though man, thank god you guys were all good. These trucks can take a beating now and also got that V shaped bottom to deflect the blast outward which helps.\r\n

This country does have its flaws, however no one or country is perfect. This country does give you the right to free speech without being persecuted for it. Wales is not that great at all, we have it better than Wales. Obviously you have not been to a "real" third world country. Maybe you need to feel how they live and maybe you would appreciate the U.S.A. Obviously your family came here to the U.S. for higher hopes and opportunity like many others that leave their homeland to come here for. I\'m sorry but I have served and still proudly serve my country and tired of hearing people say they hate this country, America doesnt do anything for them, etc, etc, etc..... GET OUT AND LEAVE if you truly hate it here. It doesnt make sense you say you respect us for defending a country you hate so much. maybe your brother and friends know what they have here and you dont. I feel you on it man, but just like with those ass whipe group of church ppl (the ones that protest soldiers funerals, forgot there names) and everyone else, we fight for that right to let them have those opinions and preach it also.
