the best in the world isn't the one who wins the most competitions in my opinion. a very memorable phrase for me that i didn't have to opportunity to accomplish is "i didn't come here to win, i came here to make you stand up". it was actually on my k3 gsxr when i first got it and after paint and everything else, i still got that bike and part of the quote is still on the headlight. i think that truely represents the best.
- individual style is adoptive and derived from those you ride around. competition per-say. theres west-coast, east-coast and then theres mid-west and southern styled. however, a few riders from each are recongnized for their own amoungst the 'mob'.
- jorian is exciting to watch, but his style can kinda be broken down to skitzofrenic. he never stays on the same part of the bike too long, hops around everywhere. a good way to win comps because it does in fact show control and consistency, not cus u can do the same trick for more then a few seconds, but cus he can control the bike through the transitions. but all the jumping says "i own the bike" not "i own the trick"
- Bullo has never been a jumpy guy from what ive seen in person and on video. he likes to get in a trick and set in and really own it. W.C.C., Darius, Flores, Mikey, Crow, Beats, James a plethora of riders, which i define as west coast style. you get in it, go with it for a bit and display the control before the next trick. ie: ss, rock it a few seconds and then jump to spreader a few seconds, come down and hit a ralph louie.
- My honest opinion of competition, the best though was Zoltan. he could jump around the bike, sit down and own the trick, then take the trick and flip it inside out. Pfeiffer as well but zoltan f.t.w. for competition those 2 would rank top 10 or even 5.
for the all out best.... well... it's a tough call because
