I bet the cable got pulled out at the top of the carb, or if there is adjustment in the middle of the cable it sometimes get seperated. Take the throttle cable off go over it and put it all back on.

Could possibly be the way you've routed the throttle cable from the throttle to the carb. When u turn right it's pulling on the cable. My bike does the same but only very slight and i need to turn the bars quite alot to the right

Thnaks lads for the replys ,im prob goin to leave it,it doesnt really affect me when im on it, its only when im in neutral its a problem.
And its good for fast circles

Hey guys I got a question. I just installed a k&n filter to replace the stock giant thing. My question is what do I do with the cable that runs out of the standard airbox that goes to a little box and then into the back of the motor?

My guess would be that thats the breather hose, on pitbikes it just comes out the topof the motor and leads down to the bottom of the engine like a carb overflow pipe. Little bits of oil can come out there, especially in wheelies. Just a guess though. I'm sure ppl with 50's will chime in

Thanks man. Yea I did some more research on google and that is exactly what it seems to be. People said to just either leave it there or get a little filter on it.

As long as no crap goes down that pipe into the engine u should be good. So if it's running upwards, definitely a good idea to add some kinda filter to stop stones/dust/etc

Does anyone have have a digital manual for the crf50? Or access to Honda manual archive?

Fiddy Repair and Maintenance. - billz - 02-05-2014

got my hands on a 01 xr50 with a billet ware cradle frame. I'm trying to swap out the pegs and put an extended brake pedal on.. but man i can't seem to figure this out.. its looking like i have to take the swing arm off to get at. can anyone help a brother out wit some insight?

i have a 04 crf50 its not a billetware cradle frame but i googled that shit just to see what the difference might be and it doesn't look any different to me as far as how the brake pedal hooks up to the frame or how the rear brake linkage attaches to the drum. you should just have to take out the cotter pin undo the spring behind that and then unhook the linkage from the drum and it should come off, at least that all i have to do.
