I finally got a chance to work on this again yesterday...

Taper Bearings for the Neck

Got the old swingarm bearings out (that have been cooked in a powder coat oven 4 times now, lol - once before this build and 3 coats of powder on this build) an replaced with new OEM

The new ones installed:

Last nights progress on assembly:

The brake lines are going pink with black ends, black sprocket with stars, pink chain - just waiting for them to come in the mail

How did you get those needle bearing races out? I'm having a bitch of a time with that

06 636 Jan SicChic Build - CELFLEX - 02-25-2013

Well to get them out still In tact Put a socket inside so the bearings don't fall out and beat it out.
If your replacing, just hammer a flat punch under it and it will fold and u can pull it right out.

Biggest mistake I could see people making is hammering them in with out a socket or even the shaft that goes in it.
Brand new needles on the floor.
