not just thugs, everyone whom ive met that owns a gun was included in that assessment. from many states and cities, so not a 'few'; hundreds! rednecks, thugs, office workers, all sort of people ive met in the military, etc.; a broad range. and you can hardly say limited experience, because you dont know where ive lived. which has been a lot of places. savannah, columbia, st pete, buffalo, okc, la, beverly hills, korea, tulsa, etc.

I've been carrying for 11yrs. I've had to pull mine 3 times in the period of time. 1 was chasing a dude that i caught breaking into my neighbors house, 2nd was catching someone inside my van, 3rd was 2 guys that said they where gonna take my camera & my money. Better to have one & not need it than to need it & not have it.

Well, when someone comes to my home, or into my personal space, with the intention of harming myself or my family, then I guess you can add me to your list of people who "only own guns because they are in the position where a gun is wanted". Fucking right I'll want a gun!

But don't be coy and pretend that your original statement wasn't implying that all gun owners are flashy, drama queens who don't really need guns.

It has nothing to do with neighborhoods. From this statement I can assume you're referring to the slums, ghettos, project or whatever you profile them as. Their talking about taking legally owned guns from people that do live in a "better neighborhood". Most Hood niggas don't or can't register a gun but still find ways to get them. And 7out of 10 will plug you quick. The other 3 may flash it. But guess what the people in the not so "better neighborhood" are not the ones going around shooting ppl for no reason.
