04 636 stunt setup - tys0n - 12-12-2012 Yes it is, an by me only lol ![]() Agreed ![]() Thats how my buddy is whom bought my 06 636 i hit a deer on he hardly ever lays it down... I wish i was that delicate lol I live in southern illinois drove to springfield to get it. Dude was a complete squid and never really maintenance'd it it seemed like other than oil changes thank god! The cam chain was super loose sounded like the head was bad. It still had reflectors on it! But the stem was loose.. tires are fucked.. it was about a half quart low on il and has a small hole in the radiator. Just little shit here and there. but yeah i got a hell of a deal i think. It hoes have about 16k miles on it though. An im sure i will drop it i have the tendency to catch idle miss the FB and loop out.. I really need to get that under control haha ![]() I hope so.. i rode a 08 600rr before this so i was kinda use to the small wheel base. Thanks!
04 636 stunt setup - motobruce - 12-13-2012 Totally agree with this, ive bought cars in the past people have "modified" and you spend twice the amount of time putting them right than just doing it your self in the first place! About time you started a new one isnt it!? Last build was good to follow, never thought i would actually see it in the flesh tho haha 04 636 stunt setup - tys0n - 12-22-2012 Installed the Stunter X ignition relocation bracket. Instructions are very vague not that i usually use them anyways but this was surprisingly a lot harder to install than i thought. I also received the wrong size bolts as they were too short so i had to pick some up from the hardware store. ![]() ![]() Special thanks to JohnnyP for sending me some bearing assemblies for my swingarm Not to mention throwing in the chain guide for free. All at a great price! Thanks again!! ![]() i picked up a bushing driver set from the Cornwell guy at work last week.. I don't know that it will fully seat the bearings but it should def get them started nice and easy.
04 636 stunt setup - 2L8I1 - 12-25-2012 looks good 04 636 stunt setup - tys0n - 12-25-2012 Thanks, kinda sucked cause my idle cable wont fit in its stock location with the ignition being there... i liked it there so i may try to mod the bracket when it warms up. 04 636 stunt setup - kweb636 - 12-25-2012 Will the ignition bracket work on the right side? 04 636 stunt setup - tys0n - 12-25-2012 The stunter x one wouldnt .. It would stick out too far on that side... Now that ive seen the bracket it would be very easy to fab one. Very very easy.
04 636 stunt setup - kweb636 - 12-25-2012 I just made a L bracket and bolted it to the subframe bolt on the rh side 04 636 stunt setup - tys0n - 12-25-2012 Whatever works haha 04 636 stunt setup - JohnnyP - 12-25-2012 That driver set will work really good, just clean the bores really good and lube everything up nice before you start. Try to get them started straight and its easy |
