External torque is minimized by mounting the device in gimbals, its orientation remains nearly fixed, regardless of any motion of the platform on which it is mounted, hence why you have nice smooth video. If it was just a few bearings in a mount it would be spinning jumping all over the place due to the movement. Quote: \r\n
