Things you may not like
I had to remove the dust seal from the wheel but all bearing these days are sealed them selves anyway. some people remove them as friction ocd types will know.
I had to trim the wheel ie so where the dust seal had been it didn't come past the face of the disc... but it was so easy using an old disc as a guide and a hack saw and BOOM! job done.
like I said the best bit is the way the wheel comes in and out so easy as the nissins stay on the swing arm.
this is the second one i have made first one is (240mm disc) is now on a friends bike.
and has survived over a year of abuse.

2 versions should do it.
Kit 1 :Nissin 4 pots
kit 2 :Nissin 4 pots and the brembo foot brake.
and of course it will be a machine finish.
what do you guys think?

you can find this brembo 2 piston on ducati's Aprilia's and if you have the piaggio X9 125 250 500 cc scooter it has 3 on it!
and I found a code for cheep ebc hh pads for the brembo
f4i is 220mm this is 255mm
some folks are running big disk conversions with adaptor plates and there's are 260-265mm

Unless I missed something, this is the only reason why you trimmed that area of the wheel, correct?
If so, the added materials cost would be made up for in sales... A dual, 4-piston f4i setup that is fully bolt-on using only unmodified OEM parts has yet to hit the market, just sayin

Since you plan to go into production why not mill an offset in a thicker piece of stock to accommodate the seal? My friend who will be having a look at doing this is a very talented and over qualified engineer.
so I'm sure he will say the same thing...the main point is the prototypes work and have held together amazingly well it has come together with a few peoples help Brian at burwins a bike shop in London gave me the heads up on the triumph fitments which he found though sheer chance. That or a blessing : )

Man, I forgot about this thread until my Sunday post review!
That's a great idea with the foot brake coming off so you can change the wheel easy! Killer skills making it by hand, too! It's cool that you're going to start making them, sometimes I can't believe how such a simple part that everyone wants ISN'T being made yet because everyone just uses the parts available. We need more guys that build stuff and stunt! Speaking of that, I feel the same way about building parts for my bike so I can ride better. I started out with a mostly stock bike and I've been adding more parts as my skills advance so I can start doing new stuff. It's all so much fun!
And thanks for your comments about my frame! I think I'm about to start up on number two... I need to make a subframe first though. I'm also toying around with some Ideas about doing a better frame and subframe interface for my bike since it's an 06. So much to do, so little time!

your comments are really appreciated.This design makes life easy for me as I am always swapping sprockets for road gearing.
It has taken me years of mistakes to get her the way I want her (the whole bike ) sharing different ideas being prepared to listen to and try friends ideas ( thank you ches ) and there always something in your mind you know you could do to to change to advance your learning curve or make it safer/stronger bike to ride.
The first hand brakes we had here in the UK scene were very poor and did nothing lol apart from endanger people lol
And that connection you have from working on / understanding your own bike is a must I reckon.
