aight so i guess i should update this. I've had my ipad2 for a couple weeks now. I LOVE THIS THING.
Using Docs to Go and Upad for all my school needs. Exporting handwritten notes to PDFs. It's really working great for having all my school stuff on the move. I don't play with it a ton as a "gadget" which is also something that I wanted the apple for. I got iDisk/iUSB on there so I can have any file I want and not worry about what iTunes thinks about it.
(Also a big plus is i've been streaming tons of netflix to my tv in HD
)I'm really pleased with it all together. Glad I didn't get an Android Tablet. I have had ZERO issues with this in the two weeks I've had it. Only downside is the still camera. I have only used it in low light conditions/indoor so i still have to test it for stunt pics. Its a little bulky to take pics with anyway. (I can always just take it with a phone and put it in dropbox and it will sync automatically with the ipad). I plan on trying to make a riding clip with the ipad video cam and iMovie app on there just for quality test purposes(supposed to be 720HD).
money well spent. I get a chuckle in class when people with Laptops are hunting for seats near a plug. Never been under 40% battery life

Yeah man this thing is badass. I've been staying up on all the other tabs coming out. A little jealous of the camera(which i've heard even the 8mp ones are still not as crisp as most 8mp cell cameras). Samsung and HTC are definately throwing down some heat. But I really needed this thing for my summer classes and it was either get it now or not at all.
If they get Honeycomb running smoother on some of these newer tabs, I may be looking that direction instead of an iPad 3 when its time to upgrade.

the new HTC tablet and the Galaxy tab is legit as hell. The the honeycomb OS is sick and allows for way more customization than the iPad does

I'm a big Android fan, so that's what I'd buy, but, like it's been said, they aren't as stable as iOS. I really like the open development aspect, but, because anybody can make stuff for them, shit doesn't always play well together. I've got my X2 dialed in pretty much perfectly and I love it.

You pegged it. Honeycomb is very customizable. iOS is stable. Just got an htc phone. Really not a fan of the droid.. But the plus is I can 4g hotspot for my iPad. Winning!
