After that I use it as reference and eyeball it when modeling. Not 100% accurate but close enough to get an idea. When I did model a few cars for Forza 3 they actually did what you said. Except they took tape, and made a wireframe on the real car with tape, and scanned that data to create a 100% accurate 3D model. Quote:
Also, I plan on modeling all of the fairings later on and unwrap those, which means that I will be able to draw anything on them, and it will be visible on my model, will allow me to make renders of different wraps with reflections etc, just not the cost of the real wrap. Somewhat an idea of how it would look. 05 ZX6R Build - RUTHLESS RAH - 01-21-2011 ^^iget it now...cant wait to see the outcome 05 ZX6R Build - jsc4v - 01-24-2011 man its gonna suck waiting for the finished product but im sure itll be worth it 05 ZX6R Build - landry209 - 01-28-2011 More pics come on!!!!!!!!!! 05 ZX6R Build - waylandplayer - 01-28-2011 looks sharp, how many hours do you have invested so far? |
